Diemersdal is one of the oldest wine estates in the Durbanville Wine Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in the Cape. Thys Louw joined Diemersdal in 2005, taking over the cellar keys from his father, whilst taking his passion – namely Sauvignon Blanc – to greater heights and producing award-winning wines. In what is believed to be a first of its kind, Thys Louw scooped seven Gold Medals for Sauvignon Blanc at the prestigious Michelangelo Awards 2010.
